Tocal Homestead Wedding

The Tocal Homestead wedding of Anna & Stirling was such an awesome day to photograph in one of the most beautiful locations in the Hunter Valley region. It is located in the Hunter Valley town of Paterson, right in the middle of working farms and was the perfect place for their rustic, country wedding.

The wedding took place on a beautiful but pretty hot 37°C summers day, but there was a nice breeze throughout the day which helped take the edge off the heat. The wedding ceremony took place in the front garden at Tocal Homestead, under a giant Fig tree which was a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony. After the ceremony we did some photos around the property while guests did tours of the historic homestead, drank and played lawn games.  The wedding reception was also held onsite in the converted barn. And we even managed to venture out from the reception at sunset to get some sunset photos of the two of them.

But what I really loved about this wedding was how uninhibited, natural and fun these guys were. They just played and had fun together when we did location portraits and also throughout the day and night.

So I hope you enjoy this amazing Tocal Homestead wedding and I can’t wait to go back there to photograph more weddings. :)
