7 Amazing Mid North Coast Wedding Venues
Are you planning a wedding and looking for a Mid North Coast wedding venue? Hey, I’m Adam and I am a Mid North Coast wedding photographer and I have shot heaps of weddings all around the region. I’ve shot over 600 weddings, so I have see quite a lot over the years. The good, the bad and the amazing!
The Mid North Coast is a huge area of New South Wales. It covers about 400 kms from one end to the other or 17,218 square kilometres. It starts from Port Stephens, way up to Woolgoolga. Some of the town it covers are Bulahdelah, Coffs Harbour, Forster, Gloucester, Taree, Nambucca Heads, Bellingen and Port Macquarie.
It is said to have the best climate anywhere in Australia and it gets over five million visitors each year. All these factors put together make it one of the most popular wedding destinations in NSW. Locals get married there obviously. But an increasing amount of couples from Sydney and Brisbane are also getting married there. It is a great mid way point for families in either city and couples are also looking for a wedding destination that is unique and different.
So here is my list of 7 amazing Mid North Coast wedding venues that you have to check out. Some of these venues I have photographed weddings at, and some are on my bucket list of places I would love to shoot.
1. Longview Farm
Get married at a destination that was featured on the TV show Grand Designs and has a frickin’ rotating house. Yes it does actually rotate and it is pretty cool. That place is Longview Farm at Caffreys Flat.
Longview Farm is a unique and awesome wedding destinations in New South Wales. It is a country, farm property that is perfect for your wedding ceremony, reception, and photos. If you are looking for a country style wedding experience, then this could be the place for you.
There is accommodation available onsite at the awesome Rotating House. Which has 5 bedroom and sleeps up to 16 people. Has a BBQ area, fully-equipped kitchen, and breathtaking views of the valley below. The house rotates 360 degrees each way so that you can get the best views whenever you want, from whatever room you want. The deck at the front of the house does not move and it takes 45 minutes to do a full rotation of the house.
There are also 10 glamping tents available for your guests. And there are also hot showers and flushing toilets, cool room and an undercover food prep area. When I was there, many guests also brought their own caravans.
Wedding ceremonies can take place anywhere on the property. When I was there they had the ceremony down by The River Bank, but I can see ceremonies at The Gum Tree Paddock under the big trees would be better if you got the direction of the sun right. See article, outdoor ceremony tips.
It has 440 square meter party shed complete with everything you need to put on a great event. You will be welcomed by a large dining area overlooking the lovely Nowendoc river in the reception. Longview Farm has rustic tables, chairs, and other decorations to complete the design. Overall, it is a pretty awesome place for a wedding.

2. Pacific Bay Resort Coffs Harbour
If you and your partner decided to have a beachside wedding, Pacific Bay Resort Coffs Harbour is a perfect wedding venue. The Pacific Bay Resort is managed by the same group that oversees the prestigious Jonah’s Restaurant and Boutique Hotel and the Bonville Golf Resort at Whale Beach in Sydney. No wonder why this venue is considered one of the best in New South Wales.
The venue is located halfway between Sydney and Brisbane. If you visit New South Wales, you will be amazed at how beautiful the coastal towns are in Coffs Harbour. With its unspoiled beaches, world heritage rainforests, and cool cafes, who would not want to have their weddings here.

3. Cedar Bar & Kitchen
The Cedar Bar & Kitchen is located in the heart of Bellingen, 25-minutes away from the Coffs Harbour airport. So why is it an ideal wedding venue? Because it is where the breathtaking Bellinger River is situated. You can have your wedding ceremony on the banks and witness the beautiful sunset.
Wedding photographers will not have a hard time finding the best spot to take the couple’s photos as everything around is worth capturing. Here, you will find the 112-year old restored church that features original stained glass windows and 7-meter high ceilings. You will be speechless once you see the natural beauty of The Promised Lands in Glennifer.
The wedding reception can be held at the Bar & Kitchen with a modern front bar, sophisticated interior, and large timber balcony, which can protect your guests from the weather.
