Wallalong House Wedding

The Wallalong House wedding of Christina & Peter was a beautiful and epic day and it had one of the most gorgeous sunsets I have seen in a while.

Wallalong House in the Hunter Valley region of NSW is an amazing, heritage listed venue built in 1862 and is the place a professional ballet dancer and an engineer tied the knot. One of the things I love about Wallalong House is that the whole day from beginning to end can happen here. They both got ready onsite in the main house, just in different parts of the house so they still didn’t see each other before the ceremony. The wedding ceremony took place out the back of the property between two giant fig trees. And the reception was held in a purpose built, concrete floor, indian tent overlooking the beautiful countryside.

I always say that the best time for photos is around sunset, and the amazing thing with this wedding is that the whole wedding paused and everyone at the wedding went outside the tent, drank… took selfies with the local cows… and watch the gorgeous sunset.

So enjoy this beautiful Wallalong House wedding, it was an amazing day to capture and I can’t wait to go back there :)
