Fernbank Farm Wedding

Fernbank Farm Wedding

The Fernbank Farm wedding of Emily & Rhys was an epic wedding on one of the hottest days this summer.

Located on the Central Coast of NSW, Fernbank Farm is an absolutely stunning place to have your wedding. Everything on this day happened onsite, so there was no travelling what-so-ever. The boys got ready in ‘The Cottage’ while the girls got ready in the ‘Main House’. The ceremony happened under the beautiful Steel Arbour and the reception was in a beautiful and elegant marquee.

It was a hot & humid night and it took a while for people to get on the dance floor… but when they did they went crazy! I have seen a lot of crazy dance floors, but this was a first for me. When AC/DC’s ‘Thunderstruck’ was played every guy in the place took their shirts off and fist pumped like crazy. The photos are pretty cool and the experience was awesome!

So check out this amazing Fernbank Farm wedding and I can’t wait to go back there to photograph more awesome weddings. :)

Wallalong House Wedding

Wallalong House Wedding

The Wallalong House wedding of Christina & Peter was a beautiful and epic day and it had one of the most gorgeous sunsets I have seen in a while.

Wallalong House in the Hunter Valley region of NSW is an amazing, heritage listed venue built in 1862 and is the place a professional ballet dancer and an engineer tied the knot. One of the things I love about Wallalong House is that the whole day from beginning to end can happen here. They both got ready onsite in the main house, just in different parts of the house so they still didn’t see each other before the ceremony. The wedding ceremony took place out the back of the property between two giant fig trees. And the reception was held in a purpose built, concrete floor, indian tent overlooking the beautiful countryside.

I always say that the best time for photos is around sunset, and the amazing thing with this wedding is that the whole wedding paused and everyone at the wedding went outside the tent, drank… took selfies with the local cows… and watch the gorgeous sunset.

So enjoy this beautiful Wallalong House wedding, it was an amazing day to capture and I can’t wait to go back there :)

Waldara Farm Wedding

Waldara Farm Wedding

The Waldara Farm wedding of Jemma & Phil was a beautiful and totally epic day in one of the most picturesque places in NSW. It was also a day filled with some crazy weather.

Waldara Farm is actually a working farm that has been set up to cater for weddings perfectly. Everything from beginning to end can happen here, which is just awesome for couples and their guests. On this day the bride & groom both got ready on the property just in separate houses across from each other. It had been raining on and off all morning, but halfway through preparation a massive storm ripped through the farm. But it didn’t faze Jemma & Phil in the slightest.

Due to the wet weather the wedding ceremony took place in the sheep shearing shed, which would have to be one of the best wet weather backup ceremony locations I have ever shot in. It rained so hard you could bearly hear the vows, but once the ceremony was over the rain started easing up and we were able to take some photos around the property. It is such a big property that we didn’t even starch the surface… I could have shot around there for hours.

So enjoy this beautiful Waldara Farm wedding and I hope to get back there very soon to photograph more amazing weddings :)
