Dungog Weddings
When Lucy and Cameron decided to tie the knot, they chose the stunning Dungog Weddings in the Hunter Valley for their special day. Their wedding was a perfect blend of rustic charm and natural beauty, on one of the most beautiful properties that I have ever been to.
Getting Ready in Dungog Town
The day began with Lucy and Cameron getting ready at The Royal Hotel in Dungog town. They cleverly avoided seeing each other by preparing at opposite ends of the hotel—Lucy at one end and Cameron at the other. The excitement and anticipation of seeing each other for the first time at the ceremony added to the magic of the day.
The Ceremony
The couple then made their way separately to Dungog Weddings, a stunning property that perfectly encapsulates the essence of a rustic, outdoor wedding. The ceremony took place in a beautiful natural bush setting, surrounded by towering trees and the sweet sounds of nature. And instead of flower girls, they had flower men that threw petals and passed out beer. It was pretty funny.
After the heartfelt ceremony, it was time for photos around the property. Dungog Weddings is a massive property and offers countless picturesque spots, from the serene bushland to open fields. As the sun began to set, Lucy and Cameron drove to the top of a big hill. The view was breathtaking, with the sunset painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, creating the perfect backdrop for their wedding photos.
The Reception
The celebration continued in the large shed/barn on the property. The space was beautifully decorated, reflecting the couple’s rustic chic theme. Fairy lights twinkled overhead, and the warm, inviting atmosphere set the tone for an unforgettable evening. Friends and family danced, laughed, and celebrated the newlyweds, creating an evening filled with love and joy.
Lucy and Cameron’s wedding at Dungog Weddings was a true reflection of their love story—natural, beautiful, and filled with heartfelt moments. From getting ready in the charming Royal Hotel to their romantic ceremony in the bush and the magical sunset photos, every detail was perfect. The reception in the barn was the perfect ending to a perfect day, leaving everyone with memories to cherish forever.
