The stunning Chateau Elan Hunter Valley wedding of Rebecca & Kahn was an absolute honour and privilege to photograph.

Everything happen onsite at one place…  the beautiful beautiful Chateau Elan.  The wedding ceremony was held at The Carriage House and I got to witness Rebecca’s Mum & Dad walk her down the aisle.

Château Élan Hunter Valley Weddings

Château Élan at The Vintage is a popular Hunter Valley wedding venue in Pokolbin, surrounded by vineyards, landscaped grounds and The Vintage Golf Course. One of its biggest advantages is having accommodation, ceremony locations and reception spaces all within the same resort, making it particularly convenient for couples with family and friends travelling to the Hunter Valley for the wedding.

There are several different options for ceremonies and receptions, including the sandstone Carriage House, the Barrington Room overlooking the golf course and the larger Founders Room. The Carriage House is particularly distinctive and works beautifully for more intimate weddings, while the larger reception spaces give couples the option of hosting considerably bigger celebrations.

For wedding photography, Château Élan has plenty of variety around the property. The vineyards, open countryside, landscaped gardens and golf course provide a mixture of classic Hunter Valley scenery, while the sandstone architecture of the Carriage House gives couples another completely different backdrop. Having everything close together also means you can get plenty of variety in the photos without spending a large part of the wedding day travelling between locations.
