2022 Wedding Photography

2022… what. a. year!

After the chaos and heartbreak of Covid postponements, 2022 came back swinging, and for me, it turned into the year of reschedules, reunions and relentless love stories. I photographed 132 weddings and elopements. Yep, 132. That’s basically three wedding/elopement celebrations every single week. And during two particularly wild weeks, I actually photographed five weddings each week! .

It was the busiest year I’ve ever had. At first, I’ll be honest… it was intense. Like running a marathon with a bouquet in one hand and a camera in the other. But something happens when you’re that immersed in the rhythm of it all. You find your pace. You get into flow. And even when your feet ache and your memory cards are bursting, there’s this quiet kind of joy that sneaks in, knowing you’re documenting something that really matters to people.

The couples I met, the tears, the champagne, the barefoot elopements on clifftops and the full-blown dance floor chaos… every single story was unique. And after a few years of waiting and wondering, watching so many of these weddings finally come to life was magic. I still get goosebumps thinking about the vows I heard, the tiny moments between couples when they thought no one was watching, and the hugs from parents who were just so damn happy their kids finally got to have their day.

Thank you to every couple who trusted me in 2022. For inviting me in. For letting me witness it all. What a privilege it is to tell love stories for a living.
